Comparative study on the effectiveness of the different modalities of the Food Acquisition Program in the Northeast Region

(2005-2006) The research was carried out from May 2005 to March 2006 by the GPP, with international cooperation from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The general objective of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the Food Acquisition Program (PAA) in its four modalities. 

 

The specific objectives consisted of:

 

1) Compare the chain of implementation of the different modalities of the program, mapping the flows of all stages of its implementation (dissemination, registration of farmers, selection of beneficiaries, purchase of food, delivery of products, etc.);_cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

 

2) Evaluate the perceptions of the farmers who were the target audience of the Program, whether they benefited or not.
