Connectivity and digital agriculture

With the objective of expanding farmers' access to technological innovations, guiding the decision-making process of public managers, in addition to promoting the integration of public and private institutions that work in rural development, such as technical schools, research institutions and Technical Assistance and Extension (ATER), the GPP, through spatial modeling, analyzes the availability of connectivity (access to the internet) in rural areas and defines priority areas for the establishment of broadband connections. As in other thematic areas of activity, connectivity in rural areas is also addressed by the GPP from the perspective of analyzing the legal basis and policies, programs and projects related to the theme.
